Life Comes From It

“Life Comes From It is a grantmaking and movement-building circle. We support grassroots and community driven work rooted in restorative justice, transformative justice, indigenous peacemaking, and land-based projects. As practitioners and elders of color, we work with local projects to meet their needs, with a minimum of bureaucracy. Alongside financial support, we are bringing convenings, webinars, consulting, education and the wisdom of elders to the movement.”

In 2024, the LCFI advisory circle allocated funding to 45 projects totaling more than $1.4 million.
