For enrolled members of Tribal nations, Rosebud Sioux Tribe offers several programs for treating and recovering from substance abuse. “Residential Programs” refers to live-in recovery facilities where individuals stay to receive 24/7 structured care and therapeutic supports; these programs range in their length of stay and intended target population.
At Rosebud Sioux, these include: RST Alcohol and Drug Treatment Program, Piya Mani Otipi Programs (PMO)
About – RST Alcohol and Drug Program
Adult In-Patient Treatment is a short-term (35days) highly structured program that includes:
- Services offered inpatient: Assessments, treatment planning, individual/group counseling, alcoholism education, psychological self-awareness, spiritual/cultural enhancement services, equine-assisted Psychotherapy, decision-making skills development.
- Services offered to adult/youth at tribal detention centers: Out-patient counseling services, Assessments, Mental Health screenings, Moral Reconation Therapy groups, Anger Management groups, Aftercare services, Support services, referral services, tele-medicine and cultural/spiritual support services are offered to the adult/youth inmates at the tribal detention centers.
