Chickasaw Nation offers a variety of residential programs for enrolled Tribal members and their family members dealing with mental health or substance use challenges, allowing families to heal in place. Please review each of their offerings below to find the option that best meets your needs.
The Nittak Himitta’ (A New Day) Women and Children’s Recovery Center
“The Nittak Himitta’ (A New Day) program a culturally guided, trauma-informed residential treatment program for First American women, including pregnant women and women with children ages 12 and younger.” – from their website
Eligibility Requirements:
- Have a sincere desire to become free from addiction
- CDIB or tribal citizenship from a federally recognized First American tribe
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Completion of medical assessment or mental health assessment as needed

The Hina’ Chokma’ (Good Road) program
Chickasaw Nation offers The Hina’ Chokma’ (Good Road) program, which provides First American men and their families a healthy community and integrated services in a trauma-informed residential substance abuse treatment program.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Have a sincere desire to become free from addiction
- CDIB or tribal citizenship from a federally recognized First American tribe
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Completion of medical assessment or mental health assessment as needed

Aalhakoffichi’ (A Place for Healing)
Aalhakoffichi’ (A Place For Healing) serves youth and their families who need support and recovery services stemming from mental health, substance misuse or family relational issues.
Eligibility
- Chickasaw citizen or member of a federally recognized tribe
- Ages 14-19
- Has at least one identified family member willing to participate in available services
