For enrolled members of Tribal nations, Rosebud Sioux Tribe offers several programs for treating and recovering from substance abuse. “Outpatient Services” refer to classes, groups, or individual therapy sessions that you can access while still living at home.

About – Wiconi Wakan Health and Healing Center
“Wiconi Wakan Health and Healing Center has existed in several different iterations on Rosebud over the past decade to address high rates of suicide and suicide ideation. In early 2019, several tribal health leaders convened to write a grant to fund a version of WWHHC that focuses on providing community-based screening, crisis intervention, and postvention services for relatives struggling with suicide ideation or healing from a loved one’s suicide.” – from their website
Wiconi Wakan offers services to individuals age 7 and older. They offer: individual counseling; screenings for suicidal ideation; crisis response; Question, Persuade, and Refer training; and support groups for specific populations including veterans, LGBTQ+, survivors of suicide, incarcerated individuals, and those residing in homeless shelters.
