The Tribal Training and Technical Assistance Center (TTAC) supports American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities in preventing substance use disorders and suicide, promoting mental health, and strengthening community wellness. Through culturally grounded, evidence-based training and technical assistance, the Center helps tribal communities build local capacity, develop infrastructure, and implement programs that honor tribal knowledge, resilience, and self-determination.
The Tribal Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Center, funded through SAMHSA, provides culturally grounded support to American Indian and Alaska Native communities at no cost for many services. Federally recognized tribes can access free trainings, webinars, technical assistance, and capacity-building resources focused on mental health, substance use prevention, and suicide prevention. Additional specialized support may be available through an application or selection process.
